A transaction coordinator handles the administrative side of a deal from executed contract to closing. That includes tracking deadlines like the option period, survey, title commitment, and financing, collecting documents, keeping the lender, title company, other agent, and clients updated, and keeping the file organized for your brokerage. You stay in charge of client advice and negotiations.
When should I hire a transaction coordinator?
When paperwork starts taking time away from clients and new business. Many agents bring in a transaction coordinator once they regularly have more than one deal under contract at the same time.
